We just received a handsome donation from one of our poetry contributors, George Held, at a crucial time. It is very evident that George's poetry is as generous from the heart as his financial contribution is from the wallet. We express a deep gratitude toward George for his support of poetry as a vital art form and we endeavor not to disappoint George and our readers and writers with this forum.

David M. Mason --- Benefactor

We have received a very generous donation from the esteemed mathematician and professor emeritus Dr. David M. Mason. Dr. Mason is an avid hiker, world traveler, and art enthusiast. We are hoping to one day publish a book of vignettes and interesting tales of travel and personalities. We hope to acquire the Manuscript before the New Yorker serializes it. Again, we are deeply appreciative of Dr. Mason's generosity.

We have just received a generous donation from Professors
Keith Holyoak and  Hongjing Lu (Mr. and Mrs. Holyoak). So, our license fee to the city of Seattle will be paid and we can continue to host good literature for you. Thank you again to the Holyoaks!

City License Fee

We need to pay a business license fee to the City of
Seattle of $45 for operations in 2014 by December 31, 2013.

If you can help out wholly or in part that will be greatly appreciated. The reason we need to pay a fee is that we intend to do an anthology for 2014 for the best we find on our Internet journal. We also  keep the option of running chapbook or full-length book contests.
